UiTM Med school is worse than a 3rd world country school!

Posted by: Nanadiah Ros

So, have anyone heard about that title? It's not a real title. It's just a quote I took from somebody's blog. It's a comments. It said:

"

UiTM Med school has admitted 200 students this year for the MBBS course. Next year, it’ supposed to take 250! The infrastructure is poor, no patients to teach on…it’s worse than a 3rd world country school!"

Well, seriously I have no idea who said that. Too many comments to read at that blog, so I just searched UiTM and I found this. Not very shocked actually. I've been expecting this especially from somebody who don't like us. It's just a matter of time before we find out. Maybe, you've found it somewhere. But, it's a true and bitter story to accept. Don't you think so sometimes?

blog mana ni nana?? bagi la link dia...

i dun totally agree with that statement. i think we must see from the quality of grad from uitm itself... and according to our senior who has work, they said uitm grads quality are same with other local university or even better!!!

but that's our senior, kite tunggu jer la our quality nnt mcm mana... we ourself hv to prove to people that we are as good as them...

Ntah la.. Its kinda hard now. Yer la. its not an easy job to produce doctors.

It mostly depends on us. On the students! If students tend to just idle all the time, then we are not going to prove them wrong!

aku dah tau link die...

That's embarrassing. Still like i said... We have to improve like A-LOT!!!!

I was profoundly affected by those remarks given! And I couldn't help it but to think about it. I know, maybe some of us beg to differ. Don't think that we are possessing a very low IQ or whatever!

But mind u guys! If u want to deny those statements, U have to prove it. Proving is not by gossiping or fighting over a minute thing like Housemate or wutever.

PRO is coming but still, some of us still day dreaming! So much for proving that they are wrong!

A lot of things happen lately in this our lovely blog. Things that are not supposed to be put up/post or even things that are not related to our activities / interests are being massively posted to this blog.

In regards to the issue brought up by Nana, well...

I agree of what Awie said, it's up to us to deny all of the negative statements they make toward UiTm especially us.

I think this this issues is not an avant garde, as they already talk about it for quite a while...politics may aggravate the issues.

If all of u read the blog-some inappropriate things are said like-the English command of Uitm student are putrid & atrocious, Uitm students are racist, plus what Nana has already write in her.

Sometimes people overlook of what we really are and what they are meant for.

Maybe our weakness in those area is compensated by our compassion, hardworking, kindness and gratefulness and other positive values that is in the root of our Malay/Bumiputra cultures.

Thanks to those who have spend their times and energy to make things possible.

peoples outside are talking about us,but we still keep on fighting each other...i dont what to say to you guyz...i'm very sad...

I totally agree with he_sham. The issue isn't an avant garde. Sure, it would make us feel better if we do have other outstanding character as such; kindness, compassion etc etc.

But, i think wouldn't it be nice we own both the knowledge and virtue.

Right!! I remember one time, a lecturer (Nama dirahsiakan). She once said to me...

Quote "If ur English is atrocious or stale or embarrassing... it isn't a crime.. It's not ur fault. But, if u are ignorant about this and can live happily with it, then no one else to be blamed" Unquote

some of us r lucky to have an early exposure to English.. But those who aren't, we still got innumerable ways to improve.

The web site is a political website...For sure it is provoking us. But, we know who we are. And our dean is a respectful plus genius person. He surely knows what he is doing.

I was an Asasi UM student and had an opportunity to visit their med school. It is not supprising that they are close to perfect as they have established long ago. They got everything a med school could offer. While we are just setting our ground and for sure we are still pursuing what they are achieving.

In my point of view, I am happier when I'm in UiTM. UiTM is really enjoyful and fell-like-home. It does not matter what others will say.

But, we, have to do our best.. Really do the best. Because I think now we are still not running that fast...to achieve the knowledge we are supposed to learn in med school (to be said to myself).
Maximize the resources and facilities, especially the lecturers ( who are a great combination of all universities in the country).

What other says dont matter..
